Covent Garden is best known as a theatre quarter of London with a lovely covered market and cozy restaurants. But did you know that in recent years it has become one of the main destinations for perfume lovers, offering vast choice of fragrances made in Great Britain and France?
We will start our Perfume Walk at the Experimental Perfume Club, founded by perfumer Emmanuelle Moeglin.
We will then visit Miller Harris in Seven Dials and try their fragrances including the one created for the legendary Jane Birkin.
I will help you to discover latest perfume trends at Parfums de Marly after which we will dive into the exciting history of Covent Garden uncovering its darkest pages. We’ll talk about theatre stars of the past like Nell Gwyn and David Garrick, the orange girls, the notorious Harris’s List, and, yes, the fragrant ghost of the Drury Lane theatre!
The tour takes about three hours that we’ll spend discovering secrets of French and English brands, such as Diptyque, Penhaligons, Guerlain, Neal’s Yard, Jo Malone, Molton Brown, and Jack.
Our partners prepared treats and gifts for all our guests.
Please check the weather forecast for London and dress accordingly on the day of the walk.
The tickets are non refundable.
