British Omani recipe developer, presenter and author of Bahari, Recipes from an Omani Kitchen & Beyond Dina Macki and five female friends join us for a very special Ramadan dinner in the Food & Drink Studio, highlighting the incredible food produced by women across Arabic nations.
The line-up includes:
Safia Shakarchi – British Iraqi photographer, writer, baker & entrepreneur with a love for telling meaningful stories through food
Noor Murad – Bahraini-born chef who moved to London in 2026 to head up Ottolenghi’s Test Kitchen and work on a number of his cookbooks
Boutheina Ben Salem – Franco-Tunisian chef and founder of BabéldeB supperclub
Salma El Sahhar – Egyptian recipe developer and co-host of the YouTube channel Middle Eats
Ayesha Kalaji – British Jordanian Chef Patron of the Queen of Cups restaurant in Glastonbury
Tackling one course each, they invite you to break bread – and break the day’s fast – over an evening of storytelling and delicious food connected to their heritage.
The menu will be:
Starters
• Prawn & Dried Lime Dumplings with Honey Chilli Drizzle
• Mahshi – Stuffed Cabbage Leaves with Herby Tomato Rice
• Chicken Brik, served with Seasonal Salad & Homemade Harissa
Mains
• Monkfish Confit in Beef Dripping with a Haddad Crystal arak Beurre Blanc, Samphire & Clams
• Slow Cooked Fenugreek Lamb
Dessert
• ‘Ashta’ with Cardamom Roasted Rhubarb & Sesame Shortbread
Petit four
• Kleicha with Omani Coffee or Chai
Ticket includes a welcome drink. More drinks available on the night.
Unfortunately this is a set menu so we cannot cater to vegetarians or vegans.
