This style of visual arts, architecture, and product design, that first appeared in France in the 1910s, and flourished in the United States and Europe during the 1920s and 1930s.

This talk will begin at 7:00pm (BST), which translates to the following times:

8:00 pm (CEST)

2:00 pm (EDT)

1:00 pm (CDT)

11:00pm (PDT)

2:00am Wednesday (ACT)

In her talk, Alexandra will be discussing product design, more specifically, the extravagant jewellery pieces created to accompany the flamboyant outfits seen in the 1920s and 1930s. From rings to excessive headpieces and necklaces, the discussion will focus on how these pieces were made and what stylistically motivated the designers of the time.

We know that these talks have been enjoyed by friends of Augustine Jewels, we’re extremely excited to have you all present for what is sure to be a wonderful evening of conversation!
