Indian cookery school founder Monisha Bharadwaj returns to the Food & Drink Studio this New Year for a lesson in intuitive cooking.
With apps telling us how many steps to take, what to eat or how to exercise, Monisha aims to realign us with our common sense when it comes to cooking and nutrition, removing the stress and anxiety that comes with a narrative of restriction.
Casting recipes aside, she’ll be showing you how to start the year as you mean to go on – taking pleasure in cooking using nothing but your 5 senses.
In this masterclass, you will learn how to make the following dishes, before sitting down to enjoy the fruits of your labour:
- Jeera Pulao (Basmati rice with cumin)
- Murgh Masala (Homestyle chicken curry)
- Bhindi subzi (spiced okra)
- Sambhar (south Indian lentils)
- Channa Rangeela (colourful chickpea salad)
