As part of a new events series ‘Kitchen Stories at Fortnum’s’ we welcome celebrated authors of both famous favourites and future classics to discuss their literary endeavours in the world of food and drink.

The Countess of Carnarvon will be joining us on our 3rd Floor at our book shop, where she’ll be sharing more about her book Christmas at Highclere: Recipes and traditions from the real Downton Abbey. The book is an exploration of the history of Highclere and a look behind the scenes at the routines and rituals that make the castle the most magical place to be throughout the festive season. It tells the story of historic Christmases at Highclere, as well as Lady Carnarvon’s recipes, tips and inspiration from her kitchen so that you can bring a quintessentially British Christmas spirit to your own home.
