COVID-19 and attending events

COVID-19 and attending events

At Wellbeau Diary, we love to share wellness, beauty and fashion events and experiences taking place around the world. However, with the outbreak and spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we must make sound and healthy decisions. Therefore, we advise you to refrain from attending events and practice social distancing and self-isolation to stop the spread of the virus.

Going Forward

Many organisers around the world are already cancelling events, and we have further decided to remove over 1,000 events dated March to the end of April 2020 from our website. You will see that most of the events listed (unless they are online events) are now dated May 2020 onwards. We are monitoring current developments and will keep reviewing the timeline and the events featured as and when official advice is updated.

If you have signed up for any event(s) that have been cancelled, please contact the organiser directly. Many organisers may graciously refund you or allow you to move/transfer your ticket or booking to a later date. In any event, check the terms and conditions of your ticket or booking and reach out to the organiser.

We encourage everyone to self-isolate and practice social distancing where they can. With the emerging spring weather, it may be difficult for many to stay indoors, but this is so important for the health of our family, friends neighbours and communities, especially those who are elderly or have underlying health conditions.

The Coronavirus is a global challenge, and a global effort is required to fight it.

Your Wellbeing

If you are experiencing feelings of loneliness and isolation, talk to someone. Self-isolation does not mean disconnection from those around you. Technology means we can easily connect and talk to our loved ones around the world.

It is natural to be worried about ourselves and our families. Still, we can also be incredibly hopeful for the future. We are especially grateful to those in the medical profession who are fighting tirelessly and selflessly to care for us. Let’s do our part to help in turn by regularly washing our handsself-isolating and practising social distancing.

Accurate News & Information

Many news channels are running 24-hour stories on the Coronavirus and its spread which can be overwhelming for some. It is good to stay informed, but to protect our mental health; there is no need to subject ourselves to a continual feed. It is also important to receive accurate information and avoid passing on inaccurate or negative stories and articles. We encourage you to gain your knowledge and information from your health authority and official and credible sources.
