Food Behind the Pages: Ravinder Bhogal hosted by Indira Varma

The fifth instalment of Fortnum’s Food Behind the Pages Supper Club series is here, and we’re delighted to reveal Ravinder Bhogal as the guest chef and hosted by Indira Varma. Ravinder is an award-winning chef and restaurateur of the lauded Jikoni in Marylebone; a journalist, and author of three books, one of which was shortlisted for the Best Cookery Book at the Fortnum & Mason Food & Drink Awards. Ravinder will be joining the Fortnum’s chefs in the kitchen at FIELD, sharing many of the delicious recipes found in her new book Comfort & Joy.

Comfort & Joy is a celebration of the variety and abundance of vegetables. Packed full of bold and innovative recipes that showcase the culinary virtues of vegan and vegetarian cooking, it is a love letter to generations of her ancestors for whom plant-based meals were the norm. So expect a menu of fragrant and fortifying curries and stews, hefty salads packed with fistfuls of good things, and condiments that will enliven and enhance every plate.

Hosted by renowned British actor Indira Varma, this supper club will feature a mix of sharing and individual plates, straight from the pages of the new book. So join us in FIELD by Fortnum’s, our Ground Floor restaurant at Piccadilly located on the Mezzanine in store.

Ticket Options:

• Dinner with the book: £86

• Dinner without the book: £60

Ticket Price Includes:

• A three-course menu.

• A drink on arrival

• A copy of Comfort & Joy is included when that ticket option is selected

Additional drinks will be available to purchase on the evening.

Please arrive between 6.30pm and 6.45pm for a 6.50pm start.

Seating will be communal and pre-allocated.

If you need to cancel, we can only offer you a refund if you cancel within three weeks’ notice of the date your ticket is booked for.
