Tara Wigley: The Food Behind the Pages Supper Club at Fortnum & Mason

Fortnum & Mason is hugely excited to welcome Tara Wigley as the guest chef for the next Food Behind the Pages Supper Club.

Fortnum & Mason is hugely excited to welcome Tara Wigley as the guest chef for the next Food Behind the Pages Supper Club, hosted by Felicity Cloake. Tara and Felicity will be discussing Tara’s fun and entertaining new book How to Butter Toast.

An antidote to cookbook-overload, How to Butter Toast is a recipe book without any recipes – instead, you’ll find a collection of fun and entertaining rhymes, with Tara making cooking with ease a cinch for cooks of all levels. The rhymes provide reassuring – and memorable – answers to the culinary conundrums we often face: How long should I boil an egg? What’s the best way to crush garlic? How do I make mayonnaise, a martini, or the perfect cup of tea?

As the in-house writer of Team Ottolenghi over the last decade, Tara Wigley has co-written eight major books, including million-selling Ottolenghi Simple and Falastin. She also writes the weekly Ottolenghi Guardian column, the monthly column in the New York Times and was a judge at the 2022 Fortnum & Mason Food & Drink Awards.

This Supper Club will feature an exciting menu inspired by the rhymes in How To Butter Toast. We look forward to welcoming you to FIELD by Fortnum’s, our Ground Floor restaurant at Piccadilly, located on the Mezzanine.
