‘Make Your Own Felt Patch’ drop-in session 2-5pm, Saturday 1 March, as part of The French Workwear Company pop up at Kiosk N1C.
Woohoo we are super pleased to be running this drop-in session with embroiderer extraordinaire Stewart Francis Easton.
Join us for a bit of relaxed fun at any time on Saturday afternoon on a drop-in basis to come and create your own felt patch (or patches). Play with colours, shapes, see how it will work and interact with the garment you want to decorate or repair. Stewart will lead you through the steps to create your own patch, and stitch it to your garment (if you would like to do it on site).
All stitch experiences welcome. 16+, 12+ welcome if accompanied by an adult.
Entrance is free, cost is £9 per patch produced (payable once you are done), all supplies provided (apart from the garment you would like to decorate/repair).
Stewart is a graphic storyteller based in London who works in yarn, ink, dye, paint and digital media. His work blurs the lines between craft, illustration and fine art and has been showcased both individually and collectively in the UK and the US. He is a regular collaborator with The French Workwear Company and has customised and mended pieces using paint, embroidery or patches.
Our French Workwear pop up sale runs between Friday 28 February and Sunday 2 March at Kiosk N1C.
