For the festive season we’ll make tea light holder shapes like reindeer, pine trees, stars, and snowflakes. You will learn to experiment with casting using pigmentation, marbling and finishing techniques. You’ll also learn about the versatility of Jesmonite AC100, a water-based eco-resin widely used to make decorative moulded objects. It is safe to use and contains no harmful chemicals.

In the first hour, the workshop will focus on how to pigment Jesmonite with different mixes of colours with the chance to explore different marbling and free-pouring techniques. In the second half, you’ll cast your tea light holder by pouring the material into silicone moulds. The tea light holder will then be sanded, sealed and finished by the founder Shalaka in their studio and then posted to you within three working days.
