A Spotlight on… Audrey’s Chocolates

A Spotlight on… Fortnum & Mason Handmade English Range

Join our supplier Audrey’s Chocolates in our 3rd Floor Food & Drink Studio as they take you through their story and the process behind the delicious Handmade English Chocolates they created exclusively for Fortnum’s. You will have the opportunity to to taste some of their delicious chocolates.

Audrey’s Chocolates, the oldest chocolatier in Brighton and Hove, has been delighting chocolate lovers with its handcrafted creations since 1948. Known for its artisanal chocolates, this family-run business has become a symbol of quality and craftsmanship, attracting customers from across Sussex and beyond.

At the core of Audrey’s are its signature cream chocolates – a classic treat loved by generations. These creams, delicately flavoured and covered in rich chocolate, reflect the brand’s dedication to traditional methods and high-quality ingredients. Decades on, these cherished treats remain a key part of Audrey’s selection, alongside a range of other chocolates, each crafted with the same attention to detail that has defined Audrey’s since its founding.

Audrey’s history stretches back even further than 1948. The brand’s journey began in the 1920s when its founder, William Pain, honed his skills at the prestigious Fortnum & Mason in London. Pain’s passion for chocolate-making eventually led him to establish Audrey’s, with a focus on excellence that laid the foundation for the business. The ongoing connection with Fortnum & Mason continues to be a valued part of Audrey’s to this day.

This event is free for you to attend and you can turn up at your leisure between 2pm and 4pm.
